VVSX Release & Collaboration Framework

VVSX works with producers under several different release and collaboration agreement models.

For release agreements:
VVSX does not require producers to purchase releases, promotional slots, playlist placement, or catalog inclusion, and does not operate on volume-based acceptance, guaranteed release slots, or pay-for-visibility models. Where applicable, certain agreements may involve clearly defined service fees or recoupment structures that are standard within the music industry and are disclosed in advance.

For collaboration and remix agreements:
VVSX does not require paid participation, forced monetization, or bundled promotional services. Collaboration and remix agreements are scoped to specific projects or releases, with ownership, usage rights, and any revenue participation clearly defined upfront. These agreements are not open-ended and do not create ongoing obligations unless explicitly stated.

Detailed contractual terms are shared after artistic alignment and mutual intent are established.

VVSX was founded by Visavis DJ and is committed to producer-forward, long-term relationships built on trust, clarity, and artistic alignment.

Release Agreements

Collaboration / Remix Agreements

RELEASE AGREEMENTS

Artist-First Support Agreement

Suitable for: Fully independent producers seeking zero obligation, maximum control, and minimal commitment.

This agreement is fully producer-controlled: you retain 100% ownership, 100% royalties, and full creative and release control. The label does not claim rights or revenue and exists solely to support your release if and when you choose. This model is designed for independence, transparency, and relationship-building rather than commercial leverage.

Label Services Agreement

Suitable for: Independent producers who want professional infrastructure with short-term, low-risk commitment.

This agreement treats the label as a service provider rather than a rights holder. You keep full ownership and all royalties, while the label assists with distribution and release execution in exchange for a fixed fee or limited administrative charge. It’s suited for producers who want professional release support without giving up control or long-term commitments.

Non-Exclusive Licensing Partnership

Suitable for: Growing producers ready for light label collaboration without exclusivity or long-term lock-in.

This agreement allows you to keep full ownership while granting the label a non-exclusive license to participate in the release. The label shares in revenue for a limited term and may invest in promotion, but you remain free to work elsewhere and are not locked in. It balances independence with selective label involvement and shared upside.

Exclusive Master License Agreement

Suitable for: Established or breakout producers seeking focused label investment and a defined-term commitment.

This agreement gives the label exclusive rights to release and market your track for a defined period, while you retain ownership of the master. The label typically invests more heavily in promotion and shares profits after recoupment. It is designed for producers seeking a structured rollout and deeper label commitment without permanently giving up their masters.

COLLABORATION / REMIX AGREEMENTS

Non-Commercial Remix Agreement

Suitable for: DJs and producers who want to experiment creatively without commercial pressure or formal release expectations.

This agreement allows you to create a remix for non-commercial use only. You retain ownership of your remix, and the original rights holder retains ownership of the original track. Usage is limited to creative exploration, live sets, private demos, or promotional sharing, with no commercial release or monetization.

Platform-Limited Remix Agreement

Suitable for: Producers seeking visibility and collaboration within clear, controlled boundaries.

This agreement allows a remix to be created and shared on specific platforms only (such as YouTube, SoundCloud, or live performances). Ownership remains unchanged for all parties, and any monetization is limited or platform-specific. The scope is clearly defined to keep the collaboration lightweight and low risk.

Remix License Agreement

Suitable for: Producers ready for an official remix release with straightforward, independent-label terms.

This agreement provides permission to create and release an official remix under defined terms. You retain ownership of your remix, while the original rights holder licenses the underlying work for this purpose. The agreement is release-specific and time-limited, without long-term exclusivity unless explicitly stated.

Remix Commission Agreement

Suitable for: Producers working on commissioned remixes with clear creative direction and defined expectations.

This agreement applies when a remix is commissioned for a specific release or campaign. Creative scope, delivery expectations, credits, and compensation are agreed in advance. Rights and usage are clearly defined to support professional execution without unnecessary complexity.

Split Revenue Remix Agreement

Suitable for: Producers seeking a deeper collaboration with revenue participation on an official remix release.

This agreement covers an official remix release where revenue is shared between parties for a defined term. Ownership of the original work remains unchanged, and the remix is released under agreed commercial terms. This model supports collaboration with shared upside while remaining release-specific and limited in scope.

Co-Production Agreement

Suitable for: Producers interested in true co-creation and shared authorship on a new version of a track.

This agreement applies when two producers jointly create a new version of a track rather than a remix. Both parties are credited as co-producers, and ownership, credits, and revenue splits are agreed upfront. The resulting work is treated as a new collaborative release.
